"The skull [on the left] found at Fenekpuszta in 1978 may be decisive. Dating back to the arrival of the Hungarians in Hungary in 896 A.D., this proves that the breed has been among the Hungarians for 1,100 years."
The skull on the right is a "present-day Kuvasz skull."
